A Northern Indian "Hot Spice" blend which is used to flavor curries. Add just prior to serving. Wonderful for any type of meat: chicken, lamb, pork, and fish; as well as for vegetable and potato dishes. Since our owner dislikes the bitter, pungent flavor of turmeric, she prefers garam masala to the traditional curry blends.
